Cartagena / Spain / On the shores of the Mediterranean Sea in southwestern Spain lies the significant port city and naval base of Cartagena. Its history dates back to around 220 BC, but the city experienced its greatest prosperity under Roman rule. Among the most interesting landmarks are the ruins of the Roman Theatre and the remains of the 13th-century Santa María la Vieja Cathedral. The historical history of the region is documented by the Municipal Archaeological Museum, while the Maritime Museum exhibits, for example, the world's first modern submarine, Peral. The area offers opportunities for water sports in the salty lagoon of Mar Menor, swimming on numerous beaches, and tasting the cuisine characteristic of the Murcia region.

Cádiz / Spain / Cádiz has everything one imagines about southern Spain – sun, ocean, long sandy beaches, tapas bars, and lively streets. The old town stretches out on a narrow peninsula far into the Atlantic, and as you walk, views of the sea open up again and again between the white houses. The golden dome of the cathedral, palm trees on the coastal promenade, a bustling market, and small bars serving fresh fish and a glass of sherry create an atmosphere where there is no rush. And when you add more than three thousand years of history and one of the most famous carnival traditions in Spain, you get a city with a true Andalusian temperament.

Tangier / Morocco / Tangier, which has guarded the Strait of Gibraltar since ancient times, is today the second most important Moroccan port and industrial center. Thanks to its strategic location near Gibraltar, it has always been considered the "gateway to Morocco and all of Africa." Throughout its long history, it has attracted many nations, making it an interesting mix of cultures, architecture, and people. Thus, Tangier is not a typical African city. Here you will find an Arab medina with winding streets full of shops, as well as wide boulevards in the French style. It is truly an exceedingly unique and extraordinarily eccentric city that is definitely worth a visit.

A cable car ride and a subsequent walk with a view of the summit are among the best experiences that Sicily's natural wealth offers. Near Messina is also the pearl of the Ionian coast – the town of Taormina, known for its narrow streets full of shops and a well-preserved Greek theater, which is among the most beautiful Sicilian towns.
