Ship Mariner of the Seas

The cruise ship Mariner of the Seas is one of the five ships of the Voyager class of Royal Caribbean International. It meets the so-called "Royal Advantage" standard of the company, which guarantees passengers top-notch comfort and an extraordinary cruise experience. The ship first set sail in 2003, underwent a complete renovation in 2012, and further enhancements in 2018 as part of the Royal Amplified project. The production cost of Mariner of the Seas was approximately 500 million USD.

On the first day of summer, June 21, 2018, the ship first sailed into its new home port in Miami after another major renovation. The 120 million USD invested in Mariner of the Seas was reflected not only in the cabins but also in the social areas, restaurants, and last but not least, in entertainment.

With its short – 4-day weekday and 3-day weekend – cruises from Miami to the Bahamas, the ship primarily targets the so-called Millennial generation, which prefers shorter but more frequent vacations. It has prepared an itinerary literally packed with fun and adventure just for them (but not only). On the journey from Miami, the ship stops at Nassau, and from May 2019, it began visiting a new destination Perfect Day at CocoCay, the first of a series of Royal Caribbean's private islands worldwide.
