Ship Norwegian Escape
In October 2015, the Norwegian Cruises fleet expanded with the Norwegian Escape ship of the Breakaway Plus class, built in Germany in just 17 months. According to the company, one of "the most exciting ships at sea" takes its guests to the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Canada and New England, as well as Bermuda or the Mediterranean. In 2022, the ship underwent a renovation.
One of the central features of the ship is the 400-meter-long promenade The Waterfront, which promises stunning sea views and enchanting sunsets. The heart of Norwegian Escape is 678 Ocean Place, a space spread across three decks full of action and entertainment with a casino, boutiques, and restaurants.
The floating colossus accommodates numerous restaurants and bars, including the wine bar The Cellars or the beer bar The District Brew House. The cruise price includes refreshments in three main restaurants, a self-service buffet, and a range of cafes, grills, and fast food outlets. The restaurant of the same name is reserved exclusively for guests of the The Haven suite class, while for an additional fee, you can try Japanese cuisine at Teppanyaki, Brazilian steaks at Moderno Churrascaria, American ones at Cagney's Steakhouse, or Italian specialties at La Cucina or French at Le Bistro French Restaurant.
The upper, 16th deck is dedicated to water fun in the amazing Aquapark with pools, whirlpools, and countless slides, including the Free Fall, the fastest slide at sea, or the Aqua Racer racing slide. A children's aquapark with slides, water cannons, and many other attractions is intended for children.
Evening entertainment on the ship is provided by the Escape Theatre or the Headliners Comedy Club with a range of great comedy performances.
Norwegian Escape is a paradise for families. For the youngest (up to 2 years old), there is the Guppies Nursery, the first nursery on Norwegian Cruises ships ever, and for teenagers, there is Entourage, a space full of movies, video games, music, and dance parties, where adults are not allowed. Splash Academy has prepared juggling lessons in the circus school, sports matches, creative games, and other fun activities for its young guests aged 3 to 12.
Athletes will appreciate the well-equipped Pulse fitness center, adrenaline lovers the obstacle rope course. Those who want to do something for their body can head to the Snow Room, salt cave, or thermal baths with therapeutic pools, whirlpools, or a steam chamber.
