Ship Spectrum of the Seas

In April 2019, Royal Caribbean expanded its fleet with the ship Spectrum of the Seas, the first of the Quantum Ultra class of ships, which was described by the company as "the next evolution" of the previous Quantum class. In terms of size and maximum number of passengers (the ship can accommodate 4,246 guests and 1,551 crew members), Spectrum is essentially a copy of its older sisters, but it brings innovations not only in accommodation but also in entertainment.

For its first voyage, the ship set sail from the Spanish city of Barcelona and embarked on an incredible 51-day "Global Odyssey" journey, during which it took its guests to ports in 13 countries around the world. The home base for Spectrum of the Seas became the Chinese city of Shanghai, and its itineraries include Hakodate and Niigita in Japan, Ilocos in the Philippines, and the Russian city of Vladivostok. In winter, the ship then moves to Hong Kong.
