Ship Celebrity Edge
Celebrity Edge was the first of four new Edge-class ships to enrich the Celebrity Cruises fleet. The ship first set sail in November 2018 and introduced a range of innovations that we had not yet encountered with Celebrity Cruises, as well as several novelties that will appear at sea for the very first time.
The ship boasts the so-called "Magic Carpet", which moves vertically between decks and changes its purpose based on its current position. At deck level 2, it forms a barrier-free access area for passengers boarding and disembarking from the ship, at deck 5 it is an extension of the outdoor restaurant, on deck 14 it becomes a bar and a place where parties are held. Finally, on the highest, 16th deck, it is a small exclusive restaurant serving a menu based on local ingredients. Eden is three glass-enclosed floors of a huge space with stunning sea views, outdoor restaurants, live flowers, and a venue for various – day and night – events. Deck 14 is named Resort Deck and besides a huge pool, guests will find two heated spas here, and on the Rooftop Garden they can look forward to yoga classes or live music.
There are numerous restaurants on the ship, with a total of 6 being completely new. There is no shortage of Italian, French, Greek, or cosmopolitan restaurants, and for a fee, guests can enjoy an experience-based and literally "theatrical" experience at the Eden restaurant, first-class steaks, fresh fish and seafood, and much more. Once or twice per cruise, there will be a menu "served" by the animated character Le Petit Chef. The offer is complemented by bars and cafes.
On board the Celebrity Edge, there are several pools, a spa, and a fitness center, and guests certainly won't be bored here: a rich program is prepared for adults and children of all ages.
