Ship Norwegian Getaway
In 2014, the ship Norwegian Getaway joined the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet, offering a perfect combination of the greatest amenities the company can offer and unforgettable destinations visited on its cruises. In 2020, the ship underwent a renovation.
The Waterfront is an innovative, 400-meter-long open-air promenade designed to connect guests even more with the open ocean. To connect people with each other, there is 678 Ocean Place, an open space spread over three decks with a casino, restaurants, bars, and plenty of entertainment.
The ship offers 28 different dining options, ensuring that everyone can find something to their taste from a wide range of culinary experiences. The main restaurant Savour changes its menu daily, but also features chef's specialties served with carefully selected wines. Shanghai's is an Asian noodle bar, Cagney's is an American steakhouse. La Cucina offers top-notch Italian specialties, Le Bistro French cuisine, Teppanyaki focuses on Japan, and the freshest seafood and fish are prepared at Ocean Blue.
Onboard entertainment is provided by the Water Park with five water slides, including Free Fall, the fastest slide at sea. Fans of active leisure will enjoy the multi-level sports complex or the Pulse fitness center, while those who prefer relaxation will appreciate the Mandara Spa, salt cave, and thermal suites. Evenings are filled with musical, dance, and other performances, as well as a rich program for children of all ages. Guests can keep track of what's happening on the ship thanks to a special mobile app.
