Cabins

Regarding accommodation, the Independence of the Seas is a great combination of stunning views and luxurious amenities. It offers cabins that meet the needs of all travelers – whether they have a limited budget or want to indulge in the best.

All cabins are equipped with a wardrobe, bathroom with shower, TV, telephone, air conditioning, hairdryer, and wireless internet access (for a fee). They include two single beds that can be converted into a double bed (upon request). Cabins have additional bedding options in the form of a pull-down bed or a convertible (double) sofa for accommodating more people. Selected cabins are accessible. Some cabins can be connected to provide even more living space.

As a special type of interior cabins, the ship offers those with a view of the Royal Promenade. Among the categories of cabins with a window are, for example, ultra spacious and spacious with panoramic views. Balcony cabins also offer the possibility of mutual connection and those that allow for more living space.

Suites have a king-size double bed, which can be converted into two single beds (upon request), and also options for additional beds for accommodating more people. They also include air conditioning, a spacious wardrobe, a bathroom with a bathtub, in some cases with a shower, TV, telephone, and wireless internet access is available.

From the suite offerings, clients can choose, for example, the Grand Suite with 2 bedrooms or the largest Royal Suite.

Nassau (New Providence) / Bahamas / Nassau is the center of the heavily visited island of New Providence and the entire Bahamian archipelago. The city, with its distinct American character, offers a blend of modern architecture, history, and Caribbean atmosphere. Beach lovers will not be disappointed here either: the entire island, washed by the Sargasso Sea, is lined with beautiful sandy beaches. George Town (Cayman Islands) / British Overseas Territory / Grand Cayman is the largest of the Cayman Islands. It is renowned as a tax haven and as an excellent diving and holiday destination, primarily due to the famous 7 miles beach offering quality facilities and an almost 9 km long stretch of white sand sloping into the shallow waters of West Bay. The capital of the Cayman Islands is George Town, a significant commercial center, whose streets full of duty-free shops are an ideal place for shopping. The port is also a popular stop for cruise ships.

Stroll through the charming historic center and shop for traditional souvenirs at the Albert George Market. Admire the cascades of Dunn's River and, during a nighttime boat ride, the unique glowing lagoon. Check-in on the first day of the cruise closes several hours before the scheduled departure, but no later than 120 minutes. The check-in time will be specified with the boarding passes. We recommend that you go to the port arrive well in advance, in the case of own air transport one day earlier.
