Cabins

Costa Smeralda has prepared 2,612 cabins for its guests and at maximum occupancy offers a capacity of 6,518 passengers. The cabins are designed by a Milanese architectural studio and provide maximum comfort in various classes, from which everyone can choose. Their equipment includes a photographic panel with a screen, depicting views of an Italian city. The bathroom cladding resembles marble and there is also a floor-to-ceiling window in cabins with a window, which lets more daylight into the room and visually enlarges it. The cabin furnishings are custom-made by a leading Italian furniture company. The ship also includes cabins with a private balcony or suite.

The area of the interior cabins is approximately from 13 m². The double bed can be converted into two separate beds (upon request). Some cabins have a 3rd or even 4th bed in the form of a pull-down bed or a sofa bed. The cabin has a bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, air conditioning, interactive TV, safe, and Wi-Fi connection (for a fee). There is also 24-hour room service available (for a fee).

Interior cabins are located on decks: 4, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17.

The area of cabins with a window is approximately from 19 m². The double bed can be converted into two separate beds (upon request). Cabins with Balcony

The area of the cabins is approximately from 13.8 m² to 24.7 m² with a balcony area from 3.1 m² to 13.4 m². A double bed can be converted into two separate beds (upon request). Some cabins have a 3rd or even 4th bed in the form of a pull-down bed or a sofa bed, and some can accommodate up to 5 people. The cabin includes a bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, air conditioning, interactive TV, safe, and Wi-Fi connection (for a fee). There is also 24-hour room service available (for a fee).

Cabins with balconies are located on decks: 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17.

Cabins with balconies on the 5th deck have a limited view, and in case of bad weather, crew members may close the balconies.

Cabins with Terrace

The area of the cabins is approximately from 14.3 m² to 14.7 m² with a balcony area from 3.8 m² to 8.1 m² and a private winter garden of about 6.4 m². A double bed can be converted into two separate beds (upon request). Some cabins have a 3rd or even 4th bed in the form of a pull-down bed or a sofa bed. The cabin includes a bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, air conditioning, interactive TV, safe, and Wi-Fi connection (for a fee). There is also 24-hour room service available (for a fee).

Cabins with terraces are located on decks: 8 and 9.

These cabins with terraces on the 8th deck have a limited view: 8001-8002, 8003-8004, 8007-8008, 8009-8010.

In front of the cabins with terraces on the 8th and 9th decks, there is a publicly accessible promenade "Infinity Walk".

Suite with Balcony (S)

The area is approximately from 32 m² to 36 m². The double bed can be converted into two single beds (upon request) and some suites have a 3rd bed or even a 4th bed in the form of a pull-down bed or a sofa bed, in some it is possible to accommodate up to 5 people. It also includes air conditioning, a bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, interactive satellite TV, a selection of pillows and duvets, a hairdryer, a safe, Wi-Fi (for a fee), and exclusive 24-hour butler service. Option to have breakfast in the cabin. Decks: 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, and 15.

Grand Suite with Balcony (GS)

Area approximately from 37 m² to 46 m². The double bed can be converted into two single beds (upon request). Suites have a 3rd and 4th bed in the form of a convertible double sofa, in some it is possible to accommodate up to 5 people. It also includes air conditioning, a bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, interactive satellite TV, a selection of pillows and duvets, a hairdryer, a safe, Wi-Fi (for a fee), and exclusive 24-hour butler service. Muscat / Oman / The Omani capital, Muscat, is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cities on the Arabian Peninsula. The diverse composition of Muscat forms an original mosaic, where many aspects of the city alternate – old clay forts neighboring modern polished buildings, streets full of flowers, and magnificent palaces and mosques expressing the wealth of the sultanate. A visit to the oriental market scented with incense, on the other hand, evokes the atmosphere of the tales of One Thousand and One Nights. The home of Sinbad, genies, and Bedouins – Oman is truly an enchanting land, whose atmosphere you won't encounter anywhere else in the world!

Port Louis / Mauritius / Under Dutch, French, and later British rule, the present-day capital and largest city of Mauritius, as well as one of the most important ports in the Indian Ocean, was formed. Port Louis offers a unique blend of colonial architecture, traditional wooden structures, and modern buildings, complemented by a number of interesting museums. At the same time, it serves as a gateway to the island's beautiful nature. Among the most significant landmarks are the Victorian buildings on Place d'Armes square, the 19th-century citadel with panoramic views, the replica of the sugar mill Domaine Les Pailles, or the Blue Penny Museum, which houses some of the world's rarest postage stamps. An inseparable part of the local atmosphere is also the traditional horse races and the famous Mauritian curry full of distinctive exotic flavors.

Visit the stone fortress Frederick and the Campanile bell tower, from where you can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding area. Take a walk along Route 67 and through 67 artworks, remember Nelson Mandela's fight for the country's freedom. Head out to observe elephants in Addo National Park and finally, take a boat ride to see whales.

Today, Cape Town, the second largest and legislative capital of South Africa, is one of the country's most visited tourist destinations. Stroll down Long Street lined with historic buildings and delve into the area's fascinating past on Robben Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy breathtaking views from the top of Table Mountain and the Cape of Good Hope, and watch African penguins on Boulders and Foxy beaches. Gratuities for the ship's crew: for persons aged 15 and over: €11/person/night, aged 4 to 14.99 inclusive: €5.5/person/night. For cruises from 1.12.2026 gratuities increase to €12/person/night, aged 4 to 14.99 inclusive: €6/person/night. On selected cruises on Costa Diadema and Serena the amount of gratuities may differ.

Check-in on the first day of the cruise closes several hours before the scheduled departure, but no later than 120 minutes. The check-in time will be specified with the boarding passes. We recommend that you go to the port arrive well in advance, in the case of own air transport one day earlier.

To enter Oman, Czech citizens need a visa, which you will receive on arrival by ship.

Before arriving in South Africa, Czech citizens must complete a declaration form.

Cabins with balconies on the 5th deck have a limited view, and in case of adverse weather, crew members may close the balconies.
Terrace cabins no. 8001–8002, 8003–8004, 8007–8008, and 8009–8010 on the 8th deck have a limited view. In front of the terrace cabins on the 8th and 9th decks, there is a publicly accessible walkway "Infinity Walk".
